I love the friendly welcome this Branch gives out. When i have always popped in the staff are very warm and so courteous. A pleasure to bank with this branch. If this bank was a hotel i would have to rate it 5***** with the service i always receive. Thank you.

Local Chambers of Commerce for DY3 2PD. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!
Dudley Town Hall

St James's Rd, Dudley DY1 1HP, UK – 01384 815577

Went to see Pasha tonight, fantastic show, very entertaining and funny. Fabulous dancing, singing and costumes. Absolutely brilliant audience participation, well done the 3 ladies out the audience you where brilliant. A big thank you to all the staff who helped me as I was on my own in a wheelchair. Just simply an amazing evening Pasha, wish I could have had a dance with you xx

Went last night to see Katherine Ryan who was, as always, superb. The venue is a little old fashioned but easily accessible with nearby parking £1.10 from 7pm to 7am. Seating was okay with a good view of the stage from the balcony and staff very friendly. Acoustics were fine for oration but probably less so for music. Bar ran out of bottled water and I suspect that this was because it became almost unbearably hot in there. Now I know this October weather is unseasonably warm but I got that hot my glasses were sliding down my face! This didn't stop us from having a great night though and if you ever get the chance to see MS Ryan just go she's fantastic.

Gotta say my teeth r a disgrace. I had a emergency appointment here cause of an abcess they really made me comfort and didn't judge. Now although I'm still very scared im having short weekly appointments to have false teeth. And they do explain everything. I can't fault it at all

Bhandal Dental Surgery

11 The Arcade/Kent St, Dudley DY3 2DA, UK – 01902 679248

One of the receptionists is exceptionally friendly. The main dentist is a bit sour and short in her manner, but she does a good, conscientious job. I was very happy.

Coseley Medical Centre

32-34 Avenue Rd, Bilston WV14 9DJ, UK – 01902 882070

5 Star is for the medical care I have received but NOT the secretary staff. They can be abrasive and intrusive. Sometimes it seems like they believe they run the surgery and have absolute rights to know about personal situations. Once I was told by a doctor to submit a sample for testing and the secretary refused at first to take it even AFTER I told her the doctor literally just told them to take it, they seem to feel they know better. A good staff shakeup and removal of the few intrusive secretaries who feel they are qualified to over-ride a doctors instructions would make a massive difference. You cannot sum up the surgery by experience as a whole, the doctors are fantastic. The other staff however are not.

love the drs and nurses, the have been good to me.

Penn Hospital

Penn Rd, Wolverhampton WV4 5HN, UK – 01902 444141

I stayed at Penn Hospital when it was Juniper Ward for women back in March 2011. The staff were friendly and helpful. It seemed a scary place at first. I soon got better and i was given a care plan and even a little celebration with a few other patients ready for my departure. I couldn't wait to go back to my family but had i not been bought in i may not be alive today. I love my therapy courses that i have through the outpatient complex care team. They are extremely helpful. The only fault i have with the service is the Crisis Team and i am not the only patient to complain. You are advised to just relax and listen to music, etc when you are telling them you don't feel sound minded and twice now my husband has found me attempting to take my own life and the crisis team just weren't interested. They expected my husband to care for me which just isn't on as he isn't qualified or paid to do the job the crisis team should be doing. Even a social worker called after i was found with a ligature but because i was alive and with her and my husband they didn't feel i needed their service (which is a disgrace). I never call the crisis team now because i feel patronized and many patients feel this way. That may be why suicide is on the rise because many don't reach out because they feel they are just an inconvienience. We have been told there are no beds on many occasions. You practically have to beg to be sectioned in order to be safe and it wasnt like that before. My Dr is amazing i can't thank him enough for his support. I just feel the crisis team let mental health services down and that's a shame.

Having moved from a previous dreadful Trust, the team at Penn Hospital have been amazing. As an inpatient, the staff offered me support and empathy. The women's ward was nicely decorated - a small thing that made being there less scary. I've had several years of outpatient support from the Complex care team and they've helped me to start to put my life back together. My CPN is literally a life saver! Yes, services aren't perfect but the staff are caring and work wonders with such limited funds.

Very pleasant experience every time, the people working there are very helpful and willing to assist anyone. I was especially impressed with how they go the extra mile by offering to help older people that needed assistance. Well done guys, we appreciate everything you do for us and those in need.

All the people there are always so friendly. They always say hello to me as I have been going a lot with my house move, and they are always so helpful. Anything to heavy they are there helping. Brilliant.

Oak Farm, Brick Works Oak Lane, Kingswinford DY6 7JS, UK – 01384 402285

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Dudley

Saffron Pinks Indian Restaurant

2 Bull Ring, Dudley DY3 1RU, UK – 01902 671759

Food was nice, let down by the lack of meat in the dish though. Also lied to about the Carling being on draft when it was seen that they sneakily pour it out of cans and then denied doing it when questioned. Wouldn't go back because of this.

Had a beautiful meal here with husband and parents new years eve. Can highly recommend the chicken tikka dhansak. Only wish I could create it at home myself! The house red wine was palatable too, unusual to get decent wine in a curry house. Thank-you!

Spices

31-39 Dudley St, Dudley DY3 1SA, UK – 01902 675111

Lime Contemporary Indian Cuisine

Unit 1 Holborn Centre, High Holborn, Dudley DY3 1SR, UK – 01902 677255

We visit Limes at least once a month. Food always a high standard. Friendly service. Added bonus you can take your own wine. Very good value!

Enjoyed my visit to the Lime as always. Food is always delicious and piping hot. No matter what I order off the menu it's always yummy. I had Tandoori mixed grill starter. Combination dish of Chicken Tikka Masala & Chicken Balti, boiled rice which is always fluffy & hot and a Plain nan bread. Highly recommended. Its always very clean, nice decor with a friendly, lively atomosphere. Toilets were spotless which is a bonus. Staff are always friendly and efficient nothing is too much trouble, service was fab as always even though it was busy. I've been coming here for the last 3 years, I can highly recommend! Probably the best Indian cuisine locally by far. We have come for various occasions and each time service, food etc has been top notch. Look forward to visiting again soon. 😀

Jesson's Church of England V.A. Primary School

School Street, Dudley DY1 2AQ, UK – 01384 816825

I was at jessons early 1970s miss Robinsons class the best teacher. And a trip to Dudley fire station.

I'm in two minds over this school. Children feel happy an safe. But the school is more interested in plays an always getting the parents involved . This is fine at times but the children are losing alot of time paying attention to their class work . They have to keep the children's education as their focus an not lose sight on this.

Cotwall End Primary School
