Zoar Methodist Church

Worship takes place every Sunday at 10.45am and 6.00pm. The one exception is the third Sunday when have a Saturday morning service instead of a Sunday morning. We call it 'Come As You Are' and it is a more informal kind of service. All are welcome. As well as our own ministers and preachers we welcome preachers from other churches so there is lots of variety. Worship includes both contemporary and traditional styles. Most importantly, we seek to glorify God and to worship him in spirit and in truth.

We have a weekly prayer meeting on Saturday mornings from 8am - 9am. We welcome anyone to join us to pray for the needs of the world and the community. If you would like us to pray for something in particular please phone Kevin on 01902 664773 or email him at

There are activities in place for children on a Sunday morning as well as during the week. During worship the whole church family meets together for the first part (about 20 minutes) then the children are invited to attend 'Junior Church' for age specific activities while the adults continue to meet together. We also have a creche for the younger ones. Parent/carers can choose whether to stay with their children or leave them in the capable hands of folks from the church. For your peace of mind all workers with children have been DBS checked.

We are mindful that coming to a new church can be a big step. We would want you to feel as comfortable as possible and so we will make every effort to make you feel at ease. Please introduce yourself to the preacher or one of the stewards (they will be wearing a badge!) God bless.

Worship - Sunday
Morning- 10.45am - Evening - 6.00pm
Worship is at the heart of all we do. We aim to offer a variety of worship styles and experiences to meet the needs of different people - but always seeking to be honouring to God and focussed on his Word.

Morning worship is often led by a worship leader and we welcome both local and visiting preachers. The morning tends to be more informal than the evening, though there is variety within both services. We welcome worship songs and hymns - both old and new. Music varies from music group and singers to organ and keyboard. Holy Commnion is celebrated each month at various times.
